THE RULES _____________________________________
Okay, most of you don't want to read the rules. Neither do I. Basically everyone should have the common sense to know most of the general RP stuff. No gmod/powerplay, no killing characters without the person's permission, marysues are bad, blah blah, be nice to the members and respect the staff, blah more blah, no spamming the boards, no super massive graphics, more blah. You guys should know all this. If you're not sure...ask we're not trolls, promise.
Easy peasy, lemon squeazey, right?
The rest of this is forum specific stuff that isn't necessarily common sense and you might not know .
ACTIVITY
Keep your account active. If we do not hear from you within three weeks, your account will be removed. If you have a canon character, it will be given to someone else who deserves it. ALSO if you do not post within a month, even if you log in every day, your cannon can be taken away.
Face claims are forfeit after 3 weeks of not logging in OR a month without posting in an RP. Too many people are logging in, but never using the character and holding FC's that could go to other people. This applies to job claims as well.
CHARACTERS
2 canons per person, originals are unlimited as long as activity allows.
Members must have one male for every three female characters they play. They will not be allowed a fourth female without first creating a male.
Absolutely no Vampire/Werewolf romances.
No bringing back dead characters. If you kill them off they stay that way.
If you want your character to have a child you need to apply to be a parent. Please post your application in the correct board we've designated for this.
One character per account.
If you make a human, they need to STAY human for at least a month, before you are allowed to have them changed, at which time you need to notify staff, and we'll go ahead and change your membergroup if you link us to the thread.
You may only make one character a week, for the sake of keeping characters active - you tend to put more thought into them if you're thinking only about them rather than another character as well. {exception: family/plot connections i.e. a newborn and the vampire who changed him/her or brother/sister}
Anime characters are not allowed to be used as face claims.
THREADS
No R-rated threads. Nothing over PG-13. Use your judgment- you know what's appropriate and what's not.
Every post should be 100 words or more.
Chatting in threads is not allowed. Example: "What's up, what you do after school?" No. There's MSN, AIM, YIM, CBox, PM's, etc, for that. The threads are meant for role play only. That type of spam is only allowed in the OOC section on the bottom category of this site.
You may not place a claim of any type (jobs, housing, face claim, diaries, etc.) until after you are accepted.
Listen to the Staff. If you think you've been treated unfairly by a staff member or another member, contact Heidi or Richard.
1. do not spam.
2. new members, please use character names, at least until we know who you are.
3. links to pornographic material will get you banned.
4. do not advertise, telling people to check out ads or a link in your name counts.
5. keep it pg-13. not all members are comfortable with mature subject matter
6. be respectful, do not harass other people or pretend to be other members using their names.
7. listen to the staff.
8. use ebonics.
